I know that this topic has been raised several times, but I still want to ask a question.

Strange behavior for the "Phone number" field. On the platform, I can enter any phone number formats. But when I want to specify the same phone number using the API - I get an error that the phone format is not correct.
Indeed, the documentation states that the phone number format must comply with the E.164 standard.
It turns out that there is no validation of the phone number on the platform?

This is a serious problem for us, as we are developing integrations on the Make platform and very often we take information from other requests, including phone numbers, and in this case errors often occur.
Will this be fixed in the future?

My apologies for the delay here - this is currently expected behavior, as our v3 API does reject invalid phone numbers, but the web app is still using the v1 processor that allows invalid phone numbers (unless it's a phone only profile).

 

Our Product Team is aware of this, so I will update the thread when there are changes here.

Having confusions., I tried with PostMan and Profile was created while the same., I tried with Javascript API i’ve been facing this issue ., even Both are like similar mobile numbers..!!
Can you please check from your side and Update here..!!

@Brian Turcotte ,. Any updates..? Still having the Issue..!! And this is Seems like Unusual behaviour. Actually i’ve create a profile With Kind of Number ., But after some point I cannot create a Profile with Same Phone number even though there is no any Profiles has that Mobile Number., Another one issue is I cannot delete a Profile ,What something is Wrong in Klaviyo., And as of I need integration with Klaviyo ., I don’t want to move to a Paid plan for a Support., Is there any other way to Contact Support team Because Here i Could not Solve any of my Problems..!!


How can there still be no updates on this? It’s a serious issue facing many people and the reason I have to constantly steer clients away from using Klaviyo
