Hey,

wondering if anyone has any guides on how to implement Back in Stock on the new Horizon Theme?

Hi @chrisB ,

The Horizon Theme is still quite new, so official guides might be limited. You can add “Back in Stock” using Klaviyo or a similar app by inserting the code manually into your product or collection template.

Here’s a simple approach:

  1. Get the Klaviyo Back in Stock code snippet from your Klaviyo account.

  2. Edit your product template in the Horizon theme and paste the snippet where you want the button to appear.

  3. Make sure the theme supports product variant and inventory data so the button works properly.

If you're not getting the results you want or aren't sure where to place the code, I can recommend a trusted Shopify expert who’s professional and experienced with custom themes.

Hey Mike,

yeah it is definitely quiet new, but i am assuming that shopify probably released some info to partners ahead of time pub release.

Copy and Pasting doesnt seem to work atm, I guess as the product is not defined on the page as it would normally, but moreso in refenced within a block from {{closest.liquid}}. It feels we would probalby need to create a block that does this, as it is not clear how to reference closest.liquid in custom liquid (or if its supported)

Hi @chrisB ,

You're absolutely right  Horizon uses a more modular structure, and referencing closest.liquid or injecting custom code into blocks can be tricky without clear documentation.

If you'd like, I can connect you with a Shopify expert who’s experienced with dynamic themes like Horizon and can help implement “Back in Stock” functionality properly within the theme’s structure.

Feel free to DM me or reply here if you’re interested. Let me connect both together if interested send a direct message

Hey Mike,

Really I want to keep this public facing for the 100’s of other people who will have this issue on the coming weeks/months.

We could build this out ourselves (with some research), but instead of just doing that I would rather see if other devs have got guidance that can be shared (for the greater good so to speak).
