[Interactive workshop] Convert existing email subscribers to SMS

About this event: An interactive workshop is a working session where you’ll design, build, and activate features in your account by following the guidance of a Klaviyo expert.

Intended audience: This training is for any and all marketers and business owners who want to collect SMS consent from email subscribers ahead of BFCM. Please note that this training is intended for brands who have already enabled SMS and already have a live SMS welcome series (more details in the session requirements).

Event description: Did you know that 95% of consumers opt in to less than 7 brands on SMS? A subscriber’s SMS inbox is significantly less crowded than their email inbox- making it the perfect place to reach them during the noisy period of BFCM. But how do you become one of those 7 brands? We suggest starting by targeting those who already know and love your content - your existing email subscribers.

In this session, we will: Identify and target existing email subscribers to convert them to SMS subscribers.

Session requirements:

• Choose the session that is right for the sending number you use to send SMS. We have a branded sender ID session and a toll-free number/long code session. If you use both types of number to send internationally, you’re welcome to join both sessions! • Have SMS enabled in your Klaviyo account. We will not be enabling SMS in this session.
• Have an SMS welcome series flow live.
