We moved our Mailchimp account to Klaviyo and started the integration. It works perfectly, except about 50% of the subscribers (double opt-in) from Mailchimp are imported to Klaviyo with column “Accepts Marketing” = false.
Did anybody have that problem before?

Just to hop in with Omar here,
“Accepts Marketing” isn’t actually opting anyone in or out of marketing emails. Accepts marketing is a property created when someone opts in or doesn’t opt in at checkout. People can subscribe to email in a lot of different ways, so that profile property is not always accurate.
As long as the user is on a list and is not suppressed, they are still opted in to marketing and you can still contact them. I hope this helps!
