Our website recently had its regular monthly update, following which, I received a few emails from Klaviyo that Klaviyo is no longer authorized to connect to WooCommerce. This is strange as the website is still showing the plug in is activated, and I’m still able to subscribe to the email list from the website.

If everything’s connected and running fine, why am I still getting this alert email from Klaviyo?

Hey @cwise,

When you see an error like this, there are a couple things you can check to determine if action is needed on your end. Firstly, as Talha mentioned, are you seeing an error on the WooCommerce integration page of your Klaviyo account? If not, the next step would be to visit the Metrics tab in Klaviyo and check and see if WooCommerce events are still syncing to Klaviyo, or if they stopped. Take a look at the Placed Order, Started Checkout, Ordered Product and Fulfilled Order events. Are you seeing a steep or sudden dropoff in these events? If so, your integration likely does have an issue that needs addressing. If not, then I’d just recommend to continue to monitor these events.

If you are noticing issues with these events, the first thing to do would be to check the plugin version you’re running. The most recent Klaviyo plugin for WooCommerce is 3.7.2.

The next step to take would be to allowlist our IPs. Sometimes, the error you mentioned occurs when Klaviyo IPs are no longer allowed to access a WooCommerce store. If you follow the steps in this guide to allowlist our IPs, that’s very likely to fix the issue.

Finally, if neither of these steps help, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team at Klaviyo.com/support, and we can take a look to see what the issue is!
