Hy everyone,

I’ve looked this up on the internet but can’t seem to find a solution.

How do I change my klaviyo sender image if my email account was not made with G-suite, and instead it’s an Outlook account?

I have already changed my outlook profile picture, but the sender image in klaviyo is still the Initial of the name.

Thanks in advance.

To change the sender image in Klaviyo when your email account is linked to Outlook (and not G-Suite), follow these steps:

1. Check Klaviyo's Default Settings:
Klaviyo might not automatically update the sender image based on your Outlook profile picture. The sender image in Klaviyo is often determined by the settings within Klaviyo itself or from Gravatar, a service that associates email addresses with profile pictures.

2. Set Up a Gravatar:
   - Visit [Gravatar](https://en.gravatar.com/) and sign up using the same email address you use with Klaviyo.
Upload your desired profile picture to Gravatar. This image will be associated with your email address and could be used by Klaviyo when sending emails.

3. Check Klaviyo’s Branding Settings:
In Klaviyo, go to the Account Settings under your profile.
Look for an option to customize or change the sender image. If available, you can upload your preferred image directly.

4. Update in Email Templates:
Ensure that your email templates in Klaviyo are using the correct "From" address linked to the Gravatar or Outlook account where you've set the image.
Sometimes, Klaviyo allows you to add a custom image or logo in the header of your emails, which might override the default sender image.

5. Contact Klaviyo Support:
If the above steps don’t work, consider reaching out to Klaviyo support. They can guide you through the process specific to Outlook accounts.

Hey RikSwipe! I’d recommend checking the sender settings directly in Klaviyo. Even though you've updated your Outlook profile picture, Klaviyo might still be pulling the initial from your email settings. Try going into your Klaviyo account settings and updating the sender profile image there. If that doesn’t work, reaching out to Klaviyo support might help resolve this issue. I’ve searched online for a solution but haven’t had any luck so far.

I’m trying to change the sender image in Klaviyo, but my email account isn’t set up with G Suite—it’s an Outlook account instead. I’ve already updated my profile picture in Outlook, but the sender image in Klaviyo still shows just the initial of my name.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To change your sender image in Klaviyo when you're using an Outlook account instead of G-Suite, you’ll need to follow these steps to make sure your email profile picture is reflected correctly in the sender information:

  1. Change Your Sender Profile Image in Klaviyo: Klaviyo typically uses the email associated with the sending domain (like your Outlook email) to pull in the profile image, which is usually connected to a Google/G-Suite account or the email provider’s profile picture (like Gravatar for other accounts). Unfortunately, Klaviyo doesn't directly pull from Outlook for the profile picture.

  2. Use Gravatar (Linked to Your Outlook Email): Since Outlook does not automatically sync the sender image in Klaviyo, you can use a service called Gravatar (Globally Recognized Avatar) to upload a photo associated with your email address. Follow these steps:

    • Go to Gravatar and sign up with the same email address you use in Outlook.
    • Upload the image you’d like to use as your sender picture.
    • Once the image is uploaded and associated with your email, Klaviyo will recognize this and start displaying it as your sender image in emails.
  3. Update Sender Information in Klaviyo:

    • Log in to your Klaviyo account.
    • Go to Account > Settings > Email Settings.
    • Make sure the correct sender email is listed, and that your email provider is configured properly (in this case, Outlook).
    • After setting up Gravatar, Klaviyo will automatically pull the image linked to your Outlook email from Gravatar.
  4. Verify Changes: Send a test email to ensure your new sender image is being displayed in the email client. It may take a few minutes or hours for the changes to take effect, depending on how quickly the system updates.

Additional Notes:

  • Outlook Profile Image: Unfortunately, Klaviyo doesn't pull profile pictures directly from Outlook (or any other non-G-Suite providers).
  • Clear Cache: Sometimes, the sender image might not appear immediately due to caching. Try clearing your email client cache or waiting a little longer to see the update
