Advice for others π«π¬
Megan shared this valuable guidance in a community thread about startup business deliverability leading up toΒ BFCM.
Late November/Black Friday is one of the most competitive times of the year in the inbox. Starting the IP warming & ramping process for a completely new domain in late October, moving into BFCM (Black Friday/Cyber Monday) season is going to be possibly a little challenging. Especially while trying to fit so many sends into a short time period.
I would recommend starting a little bit earlier if you can, in late September or early October. If you have 8 sends planned, maybe you could do something like:
Week of Sept 28: Campaign #1 (scaled IP warming send).Β
October 6: Campaign #2
October 13: Campaign #3
October 19: Campaign #4
October 27: Campaign #5
November 3: Campaign #6
November 10: Campaign #7
November 12: Campaign #8

Spreading out these sends will also allow you to send the amount of content you want to ahead of launch, without flooding your audience all at once.Β
