What Kim is known for 💡📲
That assumption wasn’t actually that far off because Kim worked at Klaviyo from 2023 to 2025 as the Product Lead for APIs. Since then, she’s built Cadence, a Klaviyo app that helps brands, freelancers, and agencies automate recurring daily, weekly, and monthly campaigns, and she also uses Klaviyo to run email and push marketing for her ed-tech startup, Sharp.
After years of building developer products at Klaviyo, Kim got involved in the Community to share what she’s learned, give back, and help other app developers navigate the platform and build stronger integrations.
Solution spotlight 🛠🔍
One question Kim is especially proud of helping solve was around respecting user preference in campaign sends. Her answer broke down a practical way to handle preference-based sending by creating topic-based interest segments and excluding users who were ineligible based on send frequency, making a complicated setup feel much more manageable.
Advice for others 💫💬
Kim’s go-to advice for anyone new to Klaviyo: almost anything is possible if you’re willing to get creative with segments, flows, and APIs. And when you get stuck, the Community is one of the best resources you can turn to.
