Skipped profiles still show "received email"

Hi,

 

I sent a campaign which 95%+ of recipients were skipped (smart sending). However, looking at the list of profiles that were skipped, each individual profile’s activity shows a “received email” event.

 

My question is, does “received email” mean:

  1. they were on the list of recipients for that campaign (and MAY have been skipped)?
    OR
  2. they actually received the email?

 

all 4190 Skipped Profiles’ Activity show this event for that specific campaign

Hi!

To be honest, this looks like a bug which happens sometimes. I would recommend you reach out to support with links to suspicious profiles and support will be able to confirm whether the emails were skipped or not.

If smart sending was enabled, it is safe to say that the profiles were skipped if they had recently received an email.
