Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with syncing my Google Ads account with Klaviyo. I disconnected and reconnected the account, but I’m still receiving notifications from Klaviyo that it’s not syncing properly. When I check the Google Ads Audience Manager, it shows the message: “Not eligible due to a sharing, privacy, or other policy issue.”

Has anyone else encountered this problem or know how to resolve it? I’ve also reached out to Klaviyo support for assistance.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Sometimes, browser issues can affect syncing. Try clearing your cache and cookies, or use a different browser.

Hey @shadaerenee

Thank you for posting your question here in the community,

Can you try testing the following?

Since you have answered No to the EEA/UK GDPR regulation question in your screenshot, double-check whether any of your data falls under regions where privacy regulations like GDPR or CCPA apply. If your audience includes users from these regions and you have not obtained proper consent for data sharing, Google may block the sync. Make sure your Klaviyo forms include consent fields that comply with privacy regulations, especially when collecting emails for targeted advertising.

Also Google requires certain conditions to be met before you can use Customer Match lists. Ensure your Google Ads account meets the following:

  • Your account must have a good history of policy compliance.
  • Your account must have spent more than $50,000 in lifetime spend (or equivalent in other currencies).
  • You need to be an active advertiser.

I was able to find the above information here - https://support.google.com/adspolicy/answer/6299717?hl=en

I hope you are able to resolve this. The above is just my research, and I thought I would share it with you.

Cheers

Arpit
