Changed Shopify theme, now 'Active on Site' and 'Viewed Product' isn't working.

Hi,

 

I had the ‘Active on Site’, ‘Viewed Product’, and “Add to Cart” events working on my client’s previous Shopify theme. Now, they’ve changed their theme, and nothing is working anymore.

I know I don’t need to uninstall and reinstall Klaviyo, but how do I get it working again?

Hi @eCommetry

If your client changed settings including theme on shopify it's possible they could have affected the Klaviyo. In order to troubleshoot the integration I would recommend going through the respective workflows to enable each of these integration features. By going through this guide step by step you can find a missing item that your client may have changed or removed. I hope this helps!

Thanks @chloe.strange. It turns out they were using a custom theme with a developer handling various backend tasks, including their own tracking setup.

 

Fortunately, I managed to get it all working.
