Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing an issue with emails sent through Klaviyo, specifically when viewed on the Yahoo Mail app on mobile devices. Despite setting the mobile layout in the editor and testing the responsive design, the emails appear in the desktop layout on Yahoo mobile. This only seems to happen with Yahoo; other mail clients display the emails in the mobile version as expected.

Has anyone else encountered this, or does anyone have suggestions for fixing it? I’d appreciate any insights or advice on how to ensure Yahoo renders the emails correctly in the mobile format.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Best regards,

Jens

Hi @ichliebedesign, and thank you for your question!

While Yahoo can sometimes struggle with mobile-friendly layouts, there are a couple of things you can try to troubleshoot:

  1. Simplify the design: Multi-column layouts or small font sizes may cause issues on Yahoo's mobile app. Switching to a single-column layout and larger fonts might help.

  2. Use a visual aid: I recommend recording a quick Loom video or taking screenshots showing the issue in the Yahoo app. That way, you can provide clear examples to Klaviyo’s support team.

Klaviyo has 24-hour chat support, and sharing a video or screenshots with them can help them better understand the issue and suggest more targeted solutions.

I hope this helps, and feel free to reach out if you need further advice!

Much success!
Alexandra
