Klaviyo not capturing email subscribers from Shopify

Klaviyo only shows 7 email subscribers, whereas on my Shopify, I see 13 active subscribers. I checked all my settings - I removed double opt-in, I disabled/enabled integration. But Klaviyo is still not capturing all my subscribers. Why is this?

Is it possible that there were 6 subscribers that existed in your Shopify account prior to setting up your integration with Klaviyo? If so, that would explain why you are seeing fewer profiles in Klaviyo, because Klaviyo does not sync pre-integration subscribers from Shopify. These profiles would need to be manually imported in your Klaviyo account! 

Another possibility is that you list was set to double opt in at one point, and there were 6 subscribers that never confirmed their subscription.

I would also suggest checking in your Shopify account to ensure that you integration is enabled! You can test this out by adding yourself as a subscriber to your Shopify account, and then checking to see that your profile was synced into Klaviyo successfully.

Thanks so much! These were new/recent subscribers. I tried subscribing with a test email address (after removing double opt-in), and that wasn’t captured by Klaviyo either (even though the email address showed up as subscribed on Shopify’s end). I tried disabling the integration, waiting, then turning integration back on - no luck.

Hi ​@Osan ! Thank you for testing that! It sounds like your integration may be disabled. Can you please go into your integration settings and if you see the option to ‘Connect to Shopify’ in the bottom right corner - click that and follow the prompts to complete your integration setup!
