I have MFA set up on my own phone but I want to also set it up on a different “work” phone. Is this possible? Both would be providing authentication for the same account and both phones have different numbers.

Currently I use Google Authenticator. I have tried exporting the account from the old phone to the new phone but it doesn’t work on the new phone.

Hi @Glen White

Thanks for clarifying there!

If you are a big enough account, I think using SSO would be an option. But upon further investigation with me colleagues, you are correct! Technically you cannot have 2 phones connected to a single authentication method. I’m sorry for the inconvenience this might cause!

Hi Taylor,

before I do this, won’t this just transfer the authentication to a the other phone rather than allowing both phones to authenticate the account?

Cheers
