Hi there!

I’m creating a signup form for a list in Klaviyo. Is there a way to add custom parameters to the signup so that I can segment my list later on based on those parameters? As an example, if part of my signup form includes mobile device type (e.g. iPhone, Android) can I pass that value in when the user signs up and then later only text/email users on a list who have iPhones?

Many thanks!

Hello @Aviva Mael,

Thanks for being a part of the Community!

Asking these questions during a signup form is a great way to gather information and learn more about your subscribers! The responses shared by your subscribers through these questions you asked in the signup form can be collected as Custom Profile Properties which can be paired with segmentation to target specific customers who have responded with a certain answer. This strategy of collecting information from your subscribers and segmenting off of these form results to target them is highlighted in detail in the following articles which may prove helpful to implementing in your own account:

Hope this helps!
