Abandoned Cart/Browse Abandonment Technical Setup Questions

Hey All, I’m trying to understand how Abandon Cart and Browse Abandonment flows work from a technical perspective.Setting everything up as a flow is easy and I get all those parts.  What I don’t understand is how Klaviyo collects the emails and tracks the user through the website.  To illustrate, let’s say we have these groups of users: Stumblers These people have stumbled upon the website, looked at some products, added them to cart, did not complete the purchase and left the website.  Curious Stumblers These people did the same as the Stumblers, but they have also given their email in the discount pop-up or any other email capture form on the website Curious Stumblers - No Consent These users acted the same way as the #2, but they have denied cookie consent. Buyers These users have successfully completed a purchase at least once and have entered their email in the checkout pageMy question is, how would Klaviyo behave in regards to abandoned carts/browse abandonment for each of these

How to send a Winback flow without sacrificing deliverability?

Say you have a few segments of warm (or not) leads in your list that you haven’t emailed ever since they opted in.  You don’t want to just enroll them into your welcome sequence a few months later out of the blue. It would seem a bit odd and result in unsubscribes or spam complaints.  A short email explaining why they haven’t received any communication might bridge that gap between unmet expectations and reality.  So what’s the best way to do that?  Modify the welcome flow by adding the winback email in the beginning, hoping it will be enough.  Concern here would be that those who are no longer interested can only opt out by unsubscribing. Some might also report as spam.    Send a campaign that asks if they are still interested and provide a way to opt back into the list and then into the welcome flow automatically.  This seems like the best way, since you are directly obtaining consent again. But, I don’t know how to set that up technically.  Looking for advice on this and technical

Best way to get feedback on email content?

Hey everyone,I write emails that sometimes have actionable steps, advice etc. I want to get more feedback from my list in terms of what emails they find interesting or helpful. Was wondering in what ways I could generate some of the feedback.One idea was to create some sort of rating system at the end of the email. Like:“Did you find this email helpful? Yes/No” But don’t know if that’s a good idea or how to make it work from a technical perspective.  Please share your experience, ideas, advice.

Teachable Course Buyers -> Zapier -> Klaviyo Buyer Segment -> How?

Looking for help with some integrations and automations. Hopefully someone has encountered something similar before.  My client sells courses through teachable. I need to create a buyer segment in Klaviyo (Different tags for different courses) by using Zapier and connecting both platforms. What’s the best way to do that? It’s a bit unclear how to differentiate between course types in Zapier and Teachable. The trigger options are a bit confusing and I’m not sure which to use:New Sale triggers regardless if it’s paid or free, which is a problem, since I need these users in separate segments. New Transaction triggers whenever someone pays, but if it’s a payment plan, it triggers again every time. Also not ideal. (Although if the action is “Update profile”, maybe it could work.  New Enrollement triggers when someone enrolls in a course. Same problem as with the sale, how do you differentiate between courses? Let’s say I figure out which trigger to use, how do I add them into a buyer segmen

Will creating the same property duplicate it, or just update?

Hi! I have a flow in which all my new subs go. At the beginning of this flow, I create a property about the user called:In X Flow → True There were already subscribers going through the flow before I did that. I’m pretty sure this property does not apply retroactively to those who already went past the entry point and deeper into the flow.  What’s the best way to add this property to those in the flow already? If I add a property update block at the last email fo the flow like this:Create a property:In X Flow → True What will happen to those who already have this property? If I instead do this:Update existing property:In X Flow → True If that property doesn’t exist in someones profile, it simply won’t do anything, right?  Additional question.If a user has a boolean property, let’s say:In X flow → TrueDoes this mean that a user that does not have this property is automatically False?In X Flow → False

Segmentation with multiple offers

Hey everyone, I’m very confused what the best approach for my situation is.  My clients has multiple opti-in offers/lead magnets A free course, a cheatsheet, etc.  Currently, they all get signed up to a Master list. Then they are segmented by source. Then they get added to a flow corresponding to a source. The problem I have is that I don’t want people to be in copies of the same flow if they sign up for multiple lead magnets. How do I avoid that?  Also, I’m getting a lot of skips in my flows (Person no longer in list/segment) and I can’t quite understand the reason why. I think I want to just re-do the whole flow set-up from scratch, but the problem is this: If I change the current sorting segments, they will kick people out of the current flows.  If I create new segments and send them to flows, some people will get added to multiple flows because they will belong to the old and the new segment.  If I disable the old flow, It will stop sending to people already in it.  How do I approa
