I want to have only some of my blog posts (a specific subject matter) get a signup pop up that offers them a download.

is this possible? How do you do this. What are best practices for sign up to download?

thanks!

Hey @Trish ! This is definitely possible. Under the Behaviors tab for your form, you can select the option to “Only show on certain URLs”:

From there, you can either choose to show the form based on a specific URL (select the Exactly Matching option) or based on part of the URL (select the Containing option).

Best,

Elise

Thanks a bunch - can I do a tagged URL like this or do I need to add in each applicable blog URL?

https://rollersdirect.com/blogs/coyote-roller-news/tagged/coyote

Great question! The rule will need to cover the specific URLs where you’d like the form to appear. So, if all of the blog posts where the form should appear contain “coyote” in the URL, then you can use a rule “Only show on certain URLs > Containing > coyote”. But if they don’t, you’ll need to include multiple rules (either using a different keyword, or each specific URL).

Thanks

The URL Should be entered like this:

https://rollersdirect.com/blogs/coyote-roller-news/do-coyotes-jump-over-fences-to-attack-dogs

or like this:

/blogs/coyote-roller-news/do-coyotes-jump-over-fences-to-attack-dogs

Maybe it doesn't matter which entry is best for URLs? (see above)

I can't get it to popup for me though so thinking something isn't right (incognito window)

Hi @Trish
If you are selecting the “Exactly Matching” option that Elise mentions above, then you would want to use the URL: “https://rollersdirect.com/blogs/coyote-roller-news/do-coyotes-jump-over-fences-to-attack-dogs”.
I followed up to your other question in the Community regarding where to paste in the embed form, which might help you with your last comment on this thread.

Thanks so much! :hugging:

Thank you, this is what I’ve been looking for!
