It might be a welcome series bringing in first purchases, a post-purchase flow driving repeat orders, or a less obvious automation that quietly performs well month after month.

Share with us:

  • Which flow is it?
  • What goal does it support?
  • What do you think makes it work so well?
  • Is there anything you recently changed or tested that improved the results?

Respond below with as much or as little as you’re comfortable with! Your answer might give someone else an idea for what to build or optimize next.

Billing soon - Sent 3-4 days before a subscriber’s next order is processed. It’s a communication that not only serves as a reminder that an order is on the way soon, but gives us an opportunity to sell a bit more before their billdate hits.

This automation has been consistently a top performer for us and something that I’d suggest any subscription-based business to utilize for sure.

I’m confident it works so well because we’re hitting customers right at that sweet spot where they’re excited for their next order and are more likely to take a sweet offer or discount since they know they’ll be receiving it very soon. One downside to be aware of is it can negatively impact bill date movement depending on the customer, where the reminder serves as a flag for them to push their bill date out a bit since they don’t want their next order yet. But this overall is a much more honest way of doing business and doesn’t result in any surprise charges.
