Hello @sachin16,

Thanks for sharing your question with the Klaviyo Community!

The purpose of integrating Shopify with Klaviyo is that it connects Klaviyo with your ecommerce store. Shopify, being an ecommerce store will contain a wide variety of information such as your past purchase history, your product catalog feed, existing customer list, etc; connect Shopify to Klaviyo would allow all of this information to be shared to Klaviyo.

Klaviyo, on the other hand is an email service provider that leverages the information shared from Shopify to more effectively market towards your email subscribers. For example, you can create groupings of customers using the data shared from Shopify such as creating a segment of customers who have purchased a specific product. Because you are able to create a segment of customers who purchased this specific product, we can then send an email to this specific type of customer to provide them with more product details or entice them to purchase accessories for their product.

To learn more about the types of data that Shopify shares with Klaviyo, I would suggest taking a look at the Reviewing Your Shopify Data Help Center article.

In addition, I would recommend perusing through the numerous courses Klaviyo offers on marketing strategies and using Shopify with Klaviyo from the Klaviyo Academy!
