Why is my abandon cart email changing the delivery options for customers?

I have some product online that our pick up only and then other pickup/delivery items. When someone is abandoning their cart with a product that is pickup only, they are getting the abandon cart email which takes them back to their checkout. The issue is it is making that product available for shipping, they are entering their address and placing the order but we do not have the accessibility to ship these products. 

I am assuming this is a Shopify issue but the email they are clicking is coming from my Klaviyo abandon cart flow so I want to do my due-diligence. Any advice?

Welcome to the community and thank you for reaching out for help with this!

Klaviyo does not have the ability to change products or their delivery methods, so this is coming from Shopify when the cart is being rebuilt. Klaviyo is only able to rebuild based on data sent by Shopify. I would definitely reach out to Shopify if you haven’t already to get clarification on why this is happening and how to resolve it.

Klaviyo does not have the ability to change products or their delivery methods, so this is coming from Shopify when the cart is being rebuilt. Klaviyo is only able to rebuild based on data sent by Shopify. I would definitely reach out to Shopify if you haven’t already to get clarification on why this is happening and how to resolve it.
