I’m looking for the best way to optimise our cross-sell and upsell email flows. We currently have a small product range (around five products, with plans to expand). At the moment, we run separate upsell/restock flows and cross-sell flows for each product. However, we’re looking to streamline this into a single, more dynamic flow.
We want our upsell/restock emails to be dynamic, so if a customer has purchased two items, the email will automatically remind them to repurchase those specific items. How can we achieve this? Is there a way to make the content blocks dynamic, so they only display if a customer has previously bought a certain product? Do we need Advanced KDP to do this?
Any guidance would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Hi @Nuala ! Thank you for reaching out to the Community.
Depending on what metric you are using to trigger your flow, you should be able to add a dynamic product block to your email that pulls in the products from their last placed order - you would just need to make sure that you are using either the Fulfilled Order metric or the Placed Order metric to trigger your flow! Here is our guide for adding a dynamic table block to your email: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/4408802597659#01FJZ2C75YR4KDEARBXYYVW6EZ .
Another option would be to utilize our Product feeds - these are a great way to upsell or cross-sell products within an email. Since you can constrain product feeds to a specific category or collection, you can provide more relevant recommendations based on what product a customer was interacting with (purchased, viewed, etc.) when they triggered the flow. For example:
I hope this provides some guidance for optimization - let me know if you have any follow up questions!
