Pop ups slowing load time

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I have set up a subscribe pop up.  Since then my page loads much more slowly.  I have two questions:

  1. how do I disable the pop up
  2. can I edit the pop up to improve page loading time?

Hello @FALG,

If your page is loading slowly after adding a popup, you have two options: disable it or optimize it.

To disable it, log into Klaviyo, go to Sign-up Forms, find your popup, click the three dots next to it, and select Disable. This will stop it from appearing on your site.

If you want to keep it but improve loading speed, reduce the size of any images used, avoid fancy fonts that take time to load, remove unnecessary animations, and make sure the form loads in a way that doesn’t block the rest of your page. If speed is still an issue, consider using an embedded form instead of a popup.

Hi @FALG, just to clarify, to disable a Signup Form, you need to find it in the Sign-up Forms listings, click on it, then click on “Edit Form.”  In the Form Editor, you can select the dropdown to move the Form into Draft like this:

Alternatively, you can also schedule it like this:

From there, you can schedule it to be disabled at a specific time.
