Active on site shows browser as Chrome For Edge

Forum|alt.badge.img+2

Klaviyo is added into the onsite javascript,

it shows Active on site browser as chrome even if I’m trying to access from Edge or Opera.

Hi @rajshree.t!

I checked in with Engineering about this, and it turns out that this happens because both Edge and Opera are powered by Chromium, which is Google’s browser codebase that also powers Chrome.

I will create a Product Request to see if our team would be able to include a distinguishing feature in the future, but for now this is expected behavior.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi @rajshree.t,

May I ask how you are testing this, and how/where in Klaviyo you are viewing the event data? It might help myself and other Community members understand the issue better if we have a little more information on the issue.

Best,

Brian
