How to edit the HTML of an already created template email.

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I have some conditional logic I want to add into some of my templates. I cant seem to find a way to edit existing templates to make any needed changes.
The only way I can find so far to do this is export the template to get the HTML and then import a new template and add any needed changes.
Am I missing something?

Hi @mtibo62, welcome to the community.

If you import your HTML email templates in the Templates library → Saved templates, you should be able to edit inline and save your changes within the Template library.  Then you can “Change Template” in your Campaigns or Flow Messages to pull in the latest version.

However, you probably want to use your own code editor (or IDE) for your HTML since the Template editor interface as very minimalistic and basic.

Give that a try!

Hi @mtibo62

Thank you for your post in the Klaviyo Community!

Just confirming for you, you are not missing anything 😊

You would need to Export the HTML from the Template, make your changes and then Import this back in.

In addition to your query, here is a helpful article that may assist when dealing with HTML for the Klaviyo templates: https://help.klaviyo.com/hc/en-us/articles/115005254068

Hope this is of assistance
