when is klaviyo going to add support for webp images

Thank you so much for asking about webp images. As of now, I cannot share a timeline or even if this will be a functionality in the future. However, I am sharing your request with the product team. There are a number of Klaviyo customers who also want to use webp formatted images. Hopefully with enough voices like yours, we can move the needle on implementing this functionality. I have also marked this thread to follow up in the future if there is any movement.

We were looking at using WebP for our site also, and would love to see this functionality integrated into your offering.

since Google is asking and recommending the use of WEBP format for images it would just makes sense to implement this for Klaviyo as well considering the synchronization of product catalogs.
