Syncing Metrics infos to Google Sheet (or Shopify, or something else)

Hi,

(I’ve been recommended to post this topic here, in the developer group)

My final objective :

  • I would like to implement a cashback system on my Shopify website.
  • Referrer would win 5% of what their referees are spending on the website

The tools I am using :

  • Loyoly : A referral app for my Shopify
  • Klaviyo

Loyoly is sending to Klaviyo a metric with the email of every succesful referees.

I would like to create a database somewhere (in Sheet or maybe directly in shopify), where I could see all the referrers and their referees.

So I’m looking for a way to extract the infos in this metrics.

Then (but I guess it won’t depend of Klaviyo), everytime a referee would make a purchase, I’ll look in that database to identify the referrer and credit his account.

Do you know how can i do it ?

Thanks a lot,

Laurent

Hey there Laurent

Have you tried Zapier?

You should be able to see if you you can discover this metric in the Klaviyo Metrics that are pulled through.

Example of what i can see as my metrics below:

If you you can then set up a webhook that as soon as a user gets this metric its added to a GSheet.

Let me know if you can see that metric when you connect Zapier

Thanks

Tim

Thanks a lot, it worked perfectly fine.

I did not know that Zapier could identify the info within a metric, but it simply does.

Have a great day and thanks for your help.
