How can I find how many users are opening mail in the iOS/Android Gmail app?

The closest thing I can find in the client name metric is something called Gmail Image Proxy.

Right now, it’s not possible to determine how many people are using the Gmail app specifically to open emails - sorry about this! We are able to report on data regarding the client, client OS and inbox provider, but the specific app isn’t an option in our reporting yet. Happy to reach out to our team and recommend that we add this as an option moving forward.
