Hi,

Eventough we have not changed anything in our settings, the parameter ?_kx is showing up at the end of our URL's.
Klaviyo support says it's because the ‘email to website tracking’ is toggled on. And indeed, when turning this of, the parameter ?_kx is gone. However, we have not changed anything in our settings and the email to website tracking has always been on ‘on’.

Anybody else encounters this issue?

Hi @Byrne C,

Thanks for your reply. I also contacted Klaviyo support, and in the end they escalated it to their Engineering team. After a few days, they managed to fix the issue. Luckily it was only an issue for test-emails eventually and everything is back to normal now.

thanks,

Hi @Femy,

Email to website tracking is toggled on in all accounts by default. The _kx parameter allows us to track when people click emails, so toggling it off will result in losing clicked email data, but is certainly an option if you’d rather not have that parameter appended to your URLs.

Are you saying that you haven’t seen this parameter before until recently? In general, the _kx parameter will always be present on the URLs in emails you send with Klaviyo.
