Can someone help me understand how Klaviyo’s Predictive Analytics are pulling in for Next Best Product on the customer profile? And is there a way to exclude certain products?

Hey there! Great question and thanks for bringing it up.

Klaviyo actually uses customer behavior data to figure out the "next best product" to recommend. It looks at what people have bought in the past and finds patterns, like what items are usually bought together or what tends to be purchased next.

It pulls this info from insights like "Products bought in the next order" and "Products bought in the same cart."

Also worth noting that Klaviyo automatically filters out products that:

  • Are out of stock
  • The customer has already purchased
  • Don’t have images
  • Are part of the current flow trigger

I don’t see a way to manually exclude products right now.

If you want to dive deeper, here’s the official documentation that explains it all.

Hope this helps!

Hi @peytonFOB

You can manually exclude specific products or categories from the Next Best Product recommendations via Settings in Catalog Insights > Product Analysis.

Cheers!
