Hi @Fitnessgruppen and Anna :)

Thank you for posting in the Community!

So… Let’s break this down into manageable areas of focus:

1): Bounces due to content occur when email service providers (ESPs) flag your email as spam or reject it outright. This is typically due to:

  • Trigger words or phrases in your subject line or body.
  • Excessive images or improper formatting.
  • A poor sender reputation.

2):

To avoid triggering spam filters:

  • Avoid Spammy Words and Phrases: Refrain from using terms like "free," "guaranteed," "act now," or "click here" excessively. A tool like Glockapps can help evaluate your content.
  • Keep Text-to-Image ratio balanced: Ensure a healthy balance between text and images (around 60:40 text-to-image ratio is ideal). Include alt text for all images to enhance deliverability.
    • You can use this code and adding it to the bottom of the e-mail to help with this: <span style="color: transparent; display: none; height: 0; max-height: 0; font-size: 1px; max-width: 0; opacity: 0; overflow: hidden; mso-hide: all; visibility: hidden; width: 0;">Add text after here.!-->
  • Use clean and simple HTML: Avoid overly complex designs or excessive inline styles. Ensure your HTML is responsive and error-free.
  • Personalize and Segment Content: Tailor your messaging to your audience, as relevant and engaging emails are less likely to be flagged.

By refining your email content and taking these proactive steps, you should notice a significant reduction in content-related bounces. If you’d like, I can guide you through testing specific emails or reviewing your current campaigns for potential red flags.

Hope that helps or else, let me know! :-)

Dear Anna,

To reduce email bounces, ensure your content complies with email provider guidelines by avoiding spammy words, excessive punctuation, and large attachments. Use a clear subject line, engaging text, and optimized images. Additionally, maintain a clean email list, verify addresses, and use a professional email domain.

Best regards,

Mansir
