Hi there,

It appears there is an issue when sending AMP templates where the HTML fallback template does not consistently have the placeholder replacement executed. I am sending a template where we embed a pixel tracker to notify us if the email is opened in AMP or in HTML. The AMP template works great but the HTML template does not get replaced. Here is the pixel after being sent, notice that not only was the event.extra.token not replaced but the default wasn’t used either meaning it was not processed at all.

Hi @dkjonzy!

My apologies for the delay here - typically AMP emails constitute custom use cases, so Klaviyo Support/Community is limited in the ability to help design or troubleshoot errors for these types of emails. That said, would you be willing to provide some more context about the issue here? For example, the exact steps you took to create the email, with screenshots if applicable.

Best,

Brian

It looks like the event.line_items section is getting replaced so it is confusing why this piece at the end is not.
