I have been using Klaviyo’s email editor for a few years now. It’s good and I like how simple it is to use, but I have come across many restrictions when it comes to editing for the mobile view of emails. I would love to see an update to the Editor where you can make updates in mobile view to something that doesn’t affect the styling when in desktop and vice versa.

Basically I would love to be able to switch between desktop and mobile CSS settings, edit the email to look how I want it to look on each view, and not affect the other view’s CSS when making edits. Currently, to adjust a content block in mobile view, I am very limited as to what I can do. If want to have the font change size for mobile, I have to create two different blocks and set each block to the view I want it to show or hide on. So if changes need to be made to the content by someone else, that person needs to be made on both content blocks, but if someone else who doesn’t know about the separate blocks, they might not make the changes on both which would cause issues on live emails being sent. I could just make an HTML block and add css in there, but I am trying to make templates for anyone on the team to be able to use as we are not all developers.

Hi @marksgn ,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and for sharing this feedback. We really appreciate you taking the time to let us know this is something you’d like to see.

I’ve gone ahead and shared your request with our product team so they’re aware this is a desired feature.

In the meantime, you’re correct — using Desktop-Only and Mobile-Only blocks is currently the best way to customize content separately for desktop and mobile experiences without affecting the other view.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions or feedback!
