We have an already approved integration.  We need to change the scopes.  So we added a few new ones.  Now we have a (Current) and (Upcoming).  And can Review submission.  So we have to fill out and additional info after adding the scopes?  Or just submit for Review?

ChatGPT says “Changing scopes on a production integration without re-approval will break OAuth if users re-auth.”.  Is my Current integration now broken even know I have not submitted for review?  Is this true?

@kenramos from what I am reading here customers would need to manually re-authorize:

Existing installations will retain the old scopes until the user reauthorizes the app with the new scopes. We recommend sending customers an email notification prompting them to reauthorize the app with the new scopes (using the new OAuth installation URL). You can also add an indicator in your app prompting the user to update to access new functionality.

Hi @kenw232,

Just to add onto what whereisjad mentioned, you won’t need to resubmit your integration once scopes are updated. The integration in the directory will update with the new scopes, so new installations will be using the correct, updated scopes! Changing the scopes will also not break the integration for existing users if they re-authorize.

Now when I go to re-submit my Integration for review I get an error “App information could not been saved. Please try again later.”  How do I fix this?
