I tried everything. On some mails it goes through, on 90% it doesn’t. Even 2 different gmail addresses produce different results. On one it goes through, on the other one it doesn’t. Yes, I checked Junk / Spam…

 

I don’t know what else to do. We get subsccriptions daily, and most of them just never subscribe, because the DOI mail doesnt deliver (they contact us!)

Sorry to hear you’re having issues with double opt-ins.  A few things to note, a user can’t subscribe more than once to a List, so if you’re using the same emails to test (and re-test), it’s not going to happen once someone has already confirmed.  The only way is to fully delete the profile, and then try again.

Next, in my experience, some people will try using the same email address to opt-in to Signup Forms because of an incentive offer in the Signup Form (e.g. Popup). Even if you target people who are “not already a profile” this can happen if the user is using a new browser, has privacy blocking tools, or just coming from a different device all together.  They sign up (again) because they see an offer they typically don’t see and are inquiring why they didn’t get the incentive.

Finally, if you’re still having these issues, and you’re in a region where this is acceptable, you can also disable double opt-in.  You can read more about that here:
