What's your name? Tim Cigelske 

What are you most passionate about? A year ago I made a career transition from higher ed to beverage marketing, with a focus on DTC. I’ve really enjoyed learning as much as possible about this field and growing my knowledge with Klaviyo Academy, Hubspot, podcasts and other resources. 

Where do you work and what is your role? Director of Communication at Sprecher Brewery, best known for our Root Beer (named the best root beer in America by the New York Times, Tasting Table and others). 

What’s one thing you love most about your company? The ability to experiment, learn and grow. 

Now, I’m curious Tim ( @Sprecher ), but not sold in Canada :( .. I’ll have to seek it out next time I’m in the States.  Sold at retail or online only?

And very interesting career switch! I’m sure there’s an interesting story there.

Hello Group!

I’m new to Klaviyo but have been an email marketer for decades and thought I’d learn this system now.

All of these system are very alike other than learning the UI and how things tie together and of course the token syntax being used.

If anyone has concorded the RSS feed setup PING ME PLEASE!

Hello all,

My name is Larry and I’m passionate about photography and coffee. This year I agreed to leave my job in TV post production to work for my wife’s business deborahwildebooks.com where I’m supposed to be the Man Friday and “Marketing Manager”. 

So after building and launching the Shopify store in Jan 2023, i’m on the steep learning curve of Marketing and trying not to lose my footing.  I fear that I have just enough knowledge to get myself in trouble but not enough to now how exactly. Especially where services like Klaviyo and Shopify converge.

I love the fact that my wife and I can work from anywhere and are testing this theory with a working vacation to Italy soon. If I can help keep the company growing then this will be the “retirement” plan.

Now I have to learn where to find these answers…..
