Issue with my first welcome email

I have single opt-in on my klaviyo flow but it isn’t working as hoped. When people subscribe, I see it in my lists but their experience isn’t as simple. They get a message saying “Thank you for subscribing” but it also says “ Check you email for a confirmation message” which never comes through anyway.

You can’t set single opt-in in a klaviyo flow. You can set the list that triggers the flow to Single opt-in. Go to Settings of your list and change Consent to single opt-in. it is explained in more detail here 

If you have already done this, and klaviyo still sends an email confirmation to the profile, then I would suggest you chat with klaviyo’s live chat support here
