first name dynamic field in subject line not appearing as an option

Hi, I’ve looked and looked and looked and now going round in circles!

Why is the option for a dynamic field not appearing for the subject line of my flow emails? Is it something to do with the template I’m using?

I’ve checked within the email editor itself and also the Email details page.

Very grateful for some guidance on this!

I am not sure if I completely understand what you are missing or trying to achieve but if you want to show the users first name within the subject line you can always use: {{ first_name|default:'👋' }}

It’s a profile property so it doesn’t matter if you are using it within campaigns or flows.

thanks Nick, yes I did use that in the end - I was just expecting it to show as an option when writing the subject line but it doesn’t look like it is
