Removing the Event Value From Profile Activity Object

Hello. When posting a profile activity via Klaviyo’s API, the activity object has a value property that is named according to the event, e.g. if the event is “Exception” the property will be “Exception Value: 0.00”. How do I remove this property? I’m not sure why it is populating automatically.
