Hey guys.
If I want to segment by region, do all users must have that info as a custom property, or under “location” alone should also work?
Not sure what’s the difference between the two, and how Klaviyo operates in that manner.

I noticed that you received an answer within Support regarding this question. But for those who may wonder the same thing I’d love to share some info here.
As far as creating a location based segment depending on how the information is collected it might show under the custom profile properties. What we would recommend you do is to include the custom profile properties as well as the location in the segment definitions so that all of the properties of that region will be included within the segment. As an example please see the screenshot below:
As long as you include all the conditions listed in the profile to make sure that you are able to grab all of the qualified profiles for your segment you should be good to go.
