Shopify Coupon Question

When creating coupons in Klaviyo for an abandoned cart flow, do I need to create the coupon in shopify as well? I created the coupon in Klaviyo but I dont see the coupon in Shopify and I dont want customers that get this coupon to not be able to use it because it doesent exist in shopify.

Here’s a great article from Flowmium that explains how to preview and test if your codes are valid. It’s a word-for-word transcript of the video so it’s quite difficult to read, but it’s all there.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve read both of those and they have great instructions on how to create coupons in Klaviyo.

I’ve created a coupon in Klaviyo and have several pre existing coupons in Shopify that I created in Shopify. HOWEVER the coupons I created in Klaviyo do not appear in Shopify and the coupons that I created in Shopify do not appear in Klaviyo. I just want to make sure that I’m sending out valid coupons.

I have already integrated Klaviyo with my Shopify store.
