Hey there, super valid question that does have people scratching their heads sometimes, as the above contributor mentioned, it is most likely duplicate submissions and the persons email will only appear once in your list, you can test this yourself with an embed form and different emails etc so you can understand the logic a bit better. Also worth checking your consent settings on the list to ensure you have your preferred opt in settings on here.
