Subscribers doesn't go to Newsletter List using Gempages' Newsletter form from the Footer

I’m currently using Gempages in Shopify. I designed my Newsletter form on the footer of my Home Page. However, whenever the customer sign up from the footer it gets added to my profiles but it doesnt go in my newsletter list. Can someone help me on this please?
