Why is there a blue tint to my gif when I view it in Gmail (mobile + desktop)?

I’m running into an issue with a gif that has a white background. The asset appears to have a blue tint when viewed in Gmail (mobile app and desktop).

The item pictured was masked and added to a white background in Photoshop so we know it is truly white.

It doesn’t seem to be an issue for Outlook.

Hello @saoooooooh,

Welcome to the Klaviyo Community!

This odd behavior is actually one caused by Gmail’s method of caching images via proxy servers. Litmus’s Color Me Gmail: Solve for Gmail’s Image Proxy Changing the Colors of Your GIFs blog article is extremely informative on this subject!

What I found helpful was that they also offered several options and solutions to alleviate this behavior.

I hope this helps!
