How often does Klaviyo make a request to a webfeed URL?

I’ve used the guide in Olaf Dunn’s developer blog article on simplified product blocks to set up Google Sheet to Klaviyo newsletter content manager, via Napkin.io.

Everything works well. I just have a question about the request rate limit in Napkin.

How often is Klaviyo likely to make a request to the Napkin URL? I expect the end user will send three or four newsletters a week using this system. Is a request made each time the user previews the newsletter in Klaviyo, then at send time? If so, then we’re possibly looking a few 100 requests each month, which should be well within Napkin’s limit of 5,000.

I just want to check though, that the request to the feed URL isn’t made for each recipient in the list? That would be an unmanageable number of requests. Or in a another scenario if we were to use a staggered send time or split testing send time… would we end up with more requests?

Thanks

Anthony

Hello @AnthonyNoel  It depends on how fast the webfeed endpoint responds to a request. If it responds within 5 seconds then Klaviyo will update it every15 mins. Otherwise it will be a nightly update
