How can I update a user's profile with birthday & gender data?

Hi @catarojastropico ! At the time of this post, it is not currently possible to embed a form directly into an email to capture this information within Klaviyo. This limitation is mainly due to how embedded elements, like forms, are recognized by inbox providers as security risks, and may negatively impact deliverability of the email as a result. If you wanted to read more about this, there is a great thread on it here: As a workaround, I would recommend creating an embedded form on your website (can be on a non-indexed or unlinked page) and instead sending an email to your current subscribers that links back to this page to submit the form hosted on the site.  You can take it one step further by first creating a segment of users where the birthday and gender properties are “Not set”, indicating a user that is missing one or the other, and then send this campaign to that segment so as not to annoy users who already have their birthday and gender on file with you. [SHOPIFY] Trigger pop-up on view content action

Hi @mxomediaromania ! There are a few ways you can trigger a pop-up in Klaviyo that might fit your needs: 1. Trigger a form when a button is clickedThis one will require adding a short code snippet to your site, but can be used to trigger a pop-up form to display after a button is clicked on the site. You can read more about how to do this here: How to trigger a popup or flyout form when a button is clicked 2. Trigger a form on certain URLsOne of the default form triggers offered by Klaviyo is the option to ‘Show only on certain URLs’. For this option, you can add the URL for a specific collection to be included in the list of pages where the pop-up can be shown.  If your collection name is contained in the URL of the products (like …/womens/graphic-t-shirt-2/) you can add “/womens” to the “Containing” field shown in the above photo to include every product in this collection in bulk. This can also be done for individual products by switching the “Containing” field to “Matches exactly”

Invalid or unsupported phone number when I call api

Hi @tungnk ! I’d recommend first checking the How to collect SMS consent via API article to ensure that you have met all requirements.  In regards to the ‘Invalid or unsupported phone number’ error you are receiving, it is possible this is displayed because you may be unable to appropriately collect consent from a Vietnam phone number; even in testing. At the time of this post, Klaviyo is only enabled to collect SMS consent and send text messages in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia. You can read more about that here. You may choose to try testing with a phone number from one of the above listed countries to confirm if this is the issue. Hope this is helpful!

Unable to Send Abandon Cart Emails

Hi @zarghamshahid ! It looks like you have already taken care of a few of the most common reasons that an abandoned cart email may not be working. Since you mentioned that you integrated your Klaviyo account with your Shopify site, can you also confirm that you have created an “Added to cart” event for Shopify? This can sometimes be skipped during the initial integration process, and can cause your Abandoned Cart emails to not send out correctly.  An easy way to see if the “Added to cart” event is properly being carried over to Klaviyo is by clicking on a customer’s profile in Klaviyo and checking for “Added to cart” events captured in the person’s activity timeline. See an example below:  Note, this event will only work for a user that is already in your database and has cookies enabled in their browser session. If the account you are using is a new user or you have recently cleared your cookies, this Add to Cart event will not work.If you have already correctly configured the above a

How do I create a segment only for unfulfilled orders?

Hello!Depending on what ecommerce platform you have integrated with Klaviyo, you can create a segment using the Placed Order and Fulfilled Order variables. In this case, you would want to include any customers who made a purchase during the affected time frame, AND exclude users who have already had an order fulfilled during the same time period (note the AND connector instead of OR).The segment would look something like this: You may choose to add additional conditions to this segment, such as “Person is not suppressed for email” and more as you see fit for your use case.  Hope this helps! - Ashley Ismailovski
