How do I remove the SMS Opt-In block?

Hi, How do I remove the SMS Opt-In and Profile Info blocks from my Form? I included them and decided that I want to keep things simple and stick to email only. Thanks!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble removing the SMS opt in step from your form! It sounds like you’re experiencing some unexpected behavior within the sign up form editor. This may be due to your browser so my first suggestion would be to clear your cookies/cache or try opening the form in an incognito browser. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, it might be best to reach out to our Support Team so they can troubleshoot further!

Hi Jennie,

If I’m understanding your question correctly this should simply be a matter of going into your form which should be located here https://www.klaviyo.com/forms and then hovering over the elements you want to remove from the form and clicking the little trash bin icon that pops up.

It’s possible that you’re not seeing the step of the form you want to edit at first. You can navigate to other steps/pages of the form by clicking them within the header area of the page.

Once removed simply save the form and it should be good to go.

Thanks for replying Mike. I think I see what the problem is. When I hover over options next to the SMS Opt-in block, the choices of what I can do are hidden by the preview. I can sort of see a white button to click on underneath but apparently in doing so I’m choosing the option to rename. I can’t see the option to delete.

Thank you so much. I’m about to go away for the weekend but I’ll try signing in on Chrome instead of Safari as soon as I get back.

Hi, it worked when I did it in Chrome. I was able to see the drop-down menu that included the delete. Thanks so much for that tip!
