The SMS campaign system is broken.

I spend so much time editing my SMS msg or my recipient segment to fit in my plan and then always have 200-300 credits left at the end of the month that I can’t use.

It would be great if we could create a campaign and just tell klaviyo to send to as many recipients in a segment as credits I have left will allow. The fact we can’t do this is pretty lame.

Every month I’ll have unused credits I paid for but can’t easily use.

Tech support solution was to import a list of 200 recipients but this both dumb and time consuming.

There’s no other way?

If i where in your shoes, i would as suggested make a segment with 200 of your potential purchasers, which isn’t in one of your bottom funnel flows and then send to them. You could also send you all of the customers, which have an active cart on your store, but haven’t converted.

How do you make a segment with exactly X amt of people though?


To create a segment with exactly X amount of people, you can use filters like purchase behavior, engagement, or demographics to narrow down your audience. Then, adjust the conditions until you reach the desired number. Some platforms, like Klaviyo, also let you limit the segment size by setting a specific count or targeting specific attributes to control the final group size.
