Review Follow Up Flow

I have a review flow that works as expected but I would like to send a review request to all the people who haven’t reviewed in the last few months, these people have exited the existing flow now so I can’t simply add a follow up email in the flow, and i don’t want them to re-enter because I don’t want them to receive all the emails in the review flow again.

I tried creating a new flow with the same ‘ready to review’ trigger and added a filter so it only captures those who haven’t reviewed or returned their product etc. The flow is not working, even though in the ‘preview’ it lists all the right profiles entering the flow. I’ve also added ‘past profiles’- it’s still not sending to anyone. What I’m I missing?

I would love to just create a campaign to send this email but the review section inside the email only works in flows.

hey @mars_pa

When you add past profiles to a metric-triggered flow, Klaviyo inserts people relative to when they originally triggered the event. So if someone triggered "Ready to Review" four months ago and your new flow only runs for, say, 30 days total, those profiles fall completely outside the flow's timeline. They show up in the preview because the preview only checks the trigger and profile filters. It does not account for time delays or whether the person actually lands within an active step.

I think the closest fix here is switching to a segment-triggered flow instead of a metric-triggered one, however, yes, I agree with what you mentioned, you wont be able add the dynamic elements that works only in a flow setup.

Build a segment of all the profiles you want to reach. Criteria would be something like: has triggered "Ready to Review" at least once, has not submitted a review, has not returned the product. Once that segment is ready, create a new simple flow triggered by that segment with a single email containing your review request block. Then use Add Past Profiles and choose the option to add them relative to when you run the action (not relative to when they joined the segment). This treats everyone as if they're entering the flow right now, so they all land at step one and receive the email.

make sure to turn the flow live or manual first, before you Add past Profiles, because past profiles will not queue against a draft message. And confirm there are no time delays longer than necessary sitting before the email step.

well, I know this approach wont help you achieve exactly what you need, but i hope this helps.

Cheers,
