@whereisjad Thank you, it’s the 20% pop up that users are coming through.
We’re seeing about 10 per month, which isn’t a lot but it doesn’t make sense. I’ve logged it with Klaviyo Support and a Klaviyo representative has responded saying it’s a security feature:
“We usually manually suppress (user suppress) on the back end IF the profile:
1. signed up pretty immediately for other Klaviyo accounts which screams spam/fake email to our system
2. signed up for the same form too many times with different emails but we recognize the same IP
As a result we automatically suppress them because they are likely either fake emails or the customer didn't actually subscribe on their own/it was a bot. IF the customer resubscribes in the future via another method, the suppression WILL be removed. But in the meantime they will be suppressed because they were flagged by our security feature.”
However one user has signed up and been suppressed that I know and they’re not a fake email or signed up to the same form so it’s really odd.
