Set Dedicated Domain - Invalid domain. Check domain info and try again.

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

So currently the emails sending via the system are all going to spam.  I’m trying to send via a dedicated domain which will hopefully help, but on the first step when I enter my root domain and ‘sending domain’ which is suggested as ‘send.yourdomain.com’ I am getting an error:

Invalid domain. Check domain info and try again.Dismiss

Does anyone have any ideas?!

Hello @mikeyg23,

Welcome to the Klaviyo Community!

In my experience, there are several common reasons why you’re receiving an invalid domain error including:

  • Including “https://” and/or “www.” within your root domain or subdomain
  • There are leading or trailing spaces
  • You’re having an authentication/caching issue

If you’ve ensured your domain setup is correct - does not have https//, www, or any leading or trailing spaces, I would suggest fully logging out of Klaviyo and clearing your cache and cookies. After doing so, you may want to also try setting up your dedicated sending domain again through an incognito/private browser.

I hope this helps!

David
